School Self Evaluation Process

In Firies National School we are embedding the School Self Evaluation (SSE) process. It is a collaborative, inclusive and reflective process. This allows us to identify and affirm good practice, and to identify and take action on areas that merit improvement. We use ‘Looking at Our School’ to support our thinking as part of the six-step SSE process.
We have identified two meaningful areas of focus:
  • Tables
  • Digital technology
The school community was made aware of our teaching and learning priorities. Views were sought from students, parents and teachers when gathering evidence and planning for improvement. Please find a copy of our SSE plans attached.
If you would like to get more information it is available on our SSE notice board which is located just inside the school door.
