SCIENCE AND MATHS SKILLS
Congratulations to our 4 th class children who took part in the ESB Science Blast
in Limerick on Tuesday, May 21 st .
ESB Science Blast is a non-competitive initiative which aims to support the
development of core science and maths skills in primary school children as set
out in the primary school curriculum.
The title of their project was ‘How does moss grow on a roof?’
The children received very positive feedback from the Judges. They
commended the children and their teacher on their outstanding project and
wonderful achievement. The Judges commented on their very impressive
teamwork, how clearly they communicated their information with confidence
They commented on the many skills the children developed
while working scientifically on the project.
