L'Adoon-Loch an Dúin

Our 6th  class were guided through the Loch an Dúin(Lake of the Fort) valley and taken back in time to the Bronze Age. Tralee Mountaineering Club ensured that each child enjoyed this historic walk exploring bog walls, Cist graves, Rockart, An clochán, megalithic    tombs,   fulacht  fia    as   well  as learning about local plants

An idyllic day ,  we had lunch at a spectacular   waterfall.   This     valley     was     last   inhabited between 500 BC and 3,000BC.   We were well equipped with our wellies and hiking boots.

Bhaineamar go léir an taitneamh as an lá stairiúil.
